We planted our plum tree last spring and I have never been so excited to harvest our first year of plums this past summer! They were honestly so gorgeous and sweet that I didn’t want them to go to waste so I made sure to include them in lots of delicious recipes!
One of our favourites in our household was my Plum Chia Jam. It was honestly so quick and easy to make and perfect to add to oats, toast, cereal, muesli or even to your baking! (How delicious would it be to find a good dollop of plum chia jam in the centre of a fabulous chocolate cupcake...yum!)
Here’s how to make chia plum jam - spoiler alert 🚨 there’s no added sugar (unless you count organic freshly squeezed orange juice 😉)…Enjoy!
1) Halve your plums and simply add:
2) Stew the plums for about 15-20 mins until soft and then let it cool to set.Store in the fridge in an air-tight container and eat within 5 days.
