#60 Back-To-Basics For Strength & Alignment


This is a lovely all-rounder back-to-basics class highlighting some of Joseph Pilates' exercises that work to tone, strengthen and create alignment within the body. If you're looking to work your entire body whilst improving your posture, core & lower back strength as well as increase your mobility, then this is the class for you. There are so many options to help you find a level of the exercises that's comfortable yet challenging for you - whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, you'll love this class! (Suitable for all levels)

THIS CLASS WILL GUIDE YOU THROUGH:

  • A standing warm up to improve balance and tone the entire body
  • Upper body mat-work to improve strength, shoulder stability and core engagement as well as lower back strength
  • Clams! Who doesn't love these?
  • A supine series working on Single Leg Stretch to improve core engagement, abdominal strength and pelvic stability
  • A Bridge sequence to improve balance, coordination and stability
